Meeting – March 18, 7pm – Zoom

Friday, March 18, 7 p.m. (Zoom*)
“Growing Dahlias and Pest Management”
by LeeAnn Huber of Coseytown Flowers

LeeAnn Huber owns Coseytown Flowers, a small flower farm in Greencastle, PA (south central). She was a farm kid who stepped away from agriculture in her 20s and pursued a career in sales and marketing “before being promoted to motherhood at 33.”  She soon decided to turn a flower hobby into a business.  Although it was hard and required huge adjustments, LeeAnn says the ability to be flexible allowed her to get to the point where she is now launching 12 new Coseytown cut flower dahlias in an expanding international market. The information she will share about pest management should be of interest to all dahlia growers.
