2021 National American Dahlia Society
and Midwest Conference Show
September 9-12, 2021
Each year the American Dahlia Society (ADS) has a National show. The show is hosted by a local society so the location varies. This year Dahlia Society of Ohio is the host and it will be a is a real treat to have the show in our backyard. Growers with different levels of experience will compete with single blooms, multiple blooms, basket arrangements, artistic arrangements, and more. There is also a photography contest. Flowers wills be judged by a large team of certified judges.
Flowers will be brought in from many states. We expect over a 1000 blooms. The ADS recognizes 30 forms (some of which come in multiple sizes) of dahlias and 16 colors, so the variety is amazing. See dahlias from under 2 inches to 14 inches in a dazzling array of colors.
The show is open to the public, free of charge, as listed below, but masks will be required per the venue rules. For members, the Annual Meeting of the ADS will be held as well as other informative meetings, gatherings, and a field trip to Amish country.
